I know many of you are curious about where I am living. So I have posted some photos of my Barcelona apartment below.
I have three roommates, all around my age: 1. Manuela, who is Italian and getting her Master's degree here. 2. Marc, who is Polish and works here at a design company. 3. Laura, who is from St. Louis and is in my TEFL program with me. Manuela and Marc speak Spanish, which allows me to brush up on my skills! Laura is great and makes me laugh all day.
We live in an apartment building less than a block away from Gaudi's famous cathedral, Sagrada Familia. It is a nice area (and don't worry Mom and Dad, it's safe!). There's a grocery store right down the street and a bar with cheap/tasty tapas across the street. And I get to walk by the freakin' Sagrada everyday! Sigh. It's hard living in Spain. ;)

The view from my window. I have now developed a slight fear that my laundry will fall off the line and drop all the way to the bottom. What the heck would I do then? |

I will live in this apartment at least for a month-- for the duration of my TEFL course. After that, it will all depend on where I can get a job! But for now, it will more than do. =)
How cute! I would also be nervous about the clothesline. How many flights up are you (knowing that the ground floor is 0...)?
