The Last Viaje: Italy

I am finally about to be caught up forever on my blog posts about my trips! (Jeez, took you long enough, Molly!)

After our couple of days in Dublin, Ireland, Amber and I hopped on a plane to Pisa, Italy.

There really isn't much to do in Pisa (really, there is the tower and that is it), so we only were there for half a day, and I don't really have much to say about it (other than it is a lame but pretty little city).

So here is what you all want to see: the photos!

After we had the photo shoot of the mandatory tourist shots, we had a nice Italian dinner and then went back to our hostel. The next morning, we hopped on the train to Florence, Italy.

We didn't do a tour of the city or anything, so I don't have any fun facts to tell you. We just sort of wandered around the city, taking pictures and enjoying ourselves.

Really? The Museums are on strike, too?
The art museum is really the main attraction in Florence, so that was kind of a bust.
Dang Europeans always fighting for their rights.

Cloudy but still pretty

And oh yeah, the food was great too! (To tell you the truth, we structured our days around our meals).

Check it:

yeah, that's a ball of mozzarella cheese

Our four days in Italy were relaxing and delicious. We drank tasty wine at every scrumptious meal, and just enjoyed wandering around without a plan.

Although we had crappy weather in Florence (cold and misty), we still had a fine time. Amber and I bonded, listened to Christmas music, and complained about how we did not want to leave Seville.

Favorite part of Italy? The food. (Definitely better than Olive Garden.)

When we finally got home from our week long vacation, it was great to come home to Seville (and Gloria, of course!). We missed our home abroad, and we began to prepare ourselves for our last weeks there. But overall, of course, we had a great puente! =)
